What is an HS code?

The Harmonized System (HS) is the international product nomenclature maintained by the World Customs Organization. Its 6-digit codes are used by customs authorities worldwide to apply duties, taxes and trade rules. Countries add extra digits for their own national tariff lines.

How does HsMaster find the code?

We combine the official HS nomenclature with an AI model that reads your description, identifies material, function and use, and matches it to the most appropriate chapter, heading and subheading.

Can I rely on the result for my customs declaration?

HsMaster gives you a fast, well-reasoned suggestion. The importer of record is legally responsible for the final classification, so for high-value or complex goods we recommend confirming with your customs broker or a binding tariff ruling.

How do credits work?

Each query costs one credit ($0.05). A bulk Excel file uses one credit per row, and you'll see the total and confirm before it runs. Buy as many credits as you like by card — there is no subscription.

How do I get an API token?
